Yak Wool Throw/Blanket
This handwoven throw/blanket is made with yak wool obtained from the Changthang area of Ladakh. It is very soft and light and will keep you warm and cosy in winter evenings.
As it is made on a handloom, there may be small variations in size. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the shawl's character. The throw is about 104 inches (264 cm) long and 56 inches (142 cm) wide.
We will ship the shawl within 3 working days of receiving the order. If you are in India, we will ship by courier or Speed Post. If you are outside India, we will ship by DHL. Enjoy!
We make woolen stoles using a blend of pure merino and Himalayan wool. The stoles are coloured with natural dyes such as madder, indigo, harada and tesu flowers in the Himalayas. The dyed yarn is hand-woven into beautiful stoles in villages in the foothills of the Himalayas.
We make two sizes of stoles. The standard size is approximately 86 inches (218 cm) long and 24 inches (61 cm) wide. The smaller stoles are 80 inches (203 cm) long and 20 inches (51 cm) wide. Both have about 3-inch-long tassels.
