Very Fine Wool Shawl (Hand-Spun) coloured with Tea and harada

This shawl is very special as it is made with super fine merino wool hand spun by Bhotia women in village Dunda, near Uttarkashi. The yarn is hand-dyed with natural dyes and then hand-woven into this beautiful shawl.

There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the character of the shawl. The length is about 90 inches (229 cm) and width is 36 inches (91 cm).
