The scarf is made from very fine merino wool, hand-spun by women in the Himalayas. The yarn is first hand-dyed Blue with natural indigo and then hand-woven on a traditional loom into this beautiful scarf.

There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the scarf's character. The length is about 78 inches (198 cm), and the width is 12 inches (30 cm).
