Handmade Pure Pashmina Scarf Dyed Purple With Shellac

The scarf is made with pashmina from nomads of Changthang in Ladakh. To maintain its character and purity, the pashmina has not been exposed to any chemicals and has been hand-spun by women in Rajpur on a charkha (spinning wheel). The scarf is coloured purple with shellac.

The scarf is heavier than the usual pashmina scarf made with mill-spun yarn. As it is made on a handloom, there may be small variations in size. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the scarf's character. The length is about 78 inches (198 cm), and the width is 12 inches (30 cms).
