Handwoven Pure Pashmina Shawl- Certified,, Hand-Spun Yarn, Natural Shade, Undyed

The is a very special shawl. It is made from pashmina, which we buy directly from a cooperative of nomads in Ladakh. To maintain the character and purity of pashmina, it has not been exposed to any chemicals and has been hand-spun by women in Rajpur on a charkha (spinning wheel).a very slow, skill-intensive process.

These shawls are heavier than usual pashmina shawls made with mill yarn.

There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the shawl's character. The length is about 87 inches (221 cms), and the width is 36 inches (91 cms).
