Handmade Woolen Stoles for Women
Hand-woven Yak wool stole
The stole is very soft and light as it is made with yak wool obtained from Kargyam village in the Changthang area of Ladakh. A number of crafts people have contributed to the making of these beautiful and very soft shawls. The shawl was hand-woven by Afsana begum and her husband Mohammed Gulzar in Rampur village near Dehradun. It is certified as hand-woven by Craftmark .
There may be small variations in size as it is made on a handloom. There may also be some inconsistencies in weaving and dyeing, which add to the character of the stole. The length is about 86 inches (218 cms) and width 24 inches (61 cms). There are also tassels of roughly 4 inches (10cms) length.
We will ship the stole within 3 working days of receiving the order. If you are in India, we will ship by Speed Post or a courier. If you are outside India, we will ship by FedEx.

Our woollen stoles are hand-made with a blend of very fine merino and Himalayan Wools. The merino provides softness while the wool from the Himalayas gives a special character to these stoles.
Our wool is procured from Himachal Pradesh and is coloured with natural Dyes by us in Kaplani village, near Mussoorie in the Himalayas. The dyed wool is hand-woven into beautiful stoles in Rampur village, near Dehradun, on simple, traditional wooden looms. While many are of vibrant colours, others are of a delicate pastel shade. We use three basic weaves; diamond, herringbone and twill. We are very proud of the weavers who work with us and are responsible for producing these masterpieces.
Our woolen stoles are 86 inches (218 centimeters) long and 24 inches (61 centimeters) wide. While some of them have tassels, others are without.
