HandWoven Pashminas For Women
We make hand-woven pashmina shawls, stoles and scarves. The pashmina is from goats raised in the Changthang region of Ladakh in India. As the goats are exposed to severe winter conditions, they develop very fine and soft down to protect themselves from the extreme cold. For this reason some of the finest pashmina is found in Changthang.
The pashmina is spun into fine yarn in Himachal Pradesh. We then hand-dye it with natural colours in the Himalayas, and the dyed yarn is hand-woven into beautiful shawls, stoles and scarves in villages around Dehradun.
